Everyone
can benefit from regular exercise, kids too. When most adults think
about exercise, they imagine working out in the gym on a treadmill
or lifting weights. But for kids, exercise means playing and being
physically active.
Kids who are active will have a leaner
body with
stronger muscles and bones. In addition to the health
benefits of regular exercise, kids who are physically fit sleep
better and are better able to handle the physical and emotional
challenges in thier daily life and activities.
To help your kids developing endurance, strength and flexibility of their body, “Creative/Exercise classes" are available at our center to the children on a parent choice basis and provided by - Cardiokids of Lowell. Classes are taught by Certified Fitness Instructor Marian Silk, are held once a week for 10 weeks, in 30 minute sessions.
