Toddler 1: Typically 15 months to 2 years In Toddler 1 children begin to master stairs, using cups and plastic utensils, sharing and social skills. Verbal skills are encouraged through conversations with teachers, naming objects, describing events and helping to find the words to express themselves.
In Toddler 2, children are introduced to numbers, letters and shapes through activities based on these concepts. In both rooms there are: Soft, quiet areas for circle time and books Block areas Role-playing opportunities Free art areas Puzzles and props to encourage imagination By showering them with guidance, love and nurturing discipline, our toddlers are able to learn and grow at their own rate. |

Greater Vision’s TODDLER program provides
guidance, love, nurturing and discipline to children age 15 months to 2 years
and 9 months. Reading, songs and finger plays are part of the daily routine. The
Toddler staff is hand picked for their knowledge and experience in Early
Childhood Development, temperament, patience and love of children. The teachers
encourage the children to learn and grow at their own rate. There are two
toddler rooms, divided by age and/or development.
